What Readers Say about Knife Edge

Terri Maue’s “Knife Edge,” is listed as the first book in the Zee and Rico series. I hope it bodes well because I want more of these characters. The murder mystery is clever, and Zee is an engaging amateur sleuth. And there’s so… much… food. Zee is as addicted to carbs as she is solving murders. — Wayne Turmel, author Johnny Lycan, the Werewolf PI series

I just finished reading Knife Edge and I have to say it was a thrilling ride from start to finish. The author has a knack for creating suspense and keeping the reader hooked with every twist and turn. The characters were well developed and realistic, each with their own flaws and motivations. Zee, the amateur detective, has a weakness for anything pastry, a conflicting love interest, and a very active detective’s mind. The book was fast-paced and action-packed, but also had moments of emotional depth and humor. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery or thriller. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

This book’s is a total page turner.

The author’s writing style is so engaging that you are just along for the ride page after page. The characters are interesting and realistic, the story pulls you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat and the details throughout are richly depicted.

I really enjoy a book that makes you eager to read it and sad when it’s over, and this is one such book.

This is an excellent debut novel. This mystery was handled very well; good clues but still kept you guessing as to who was the murderer. This author has a real gift for description both when creating the town and setting the atmosphere. The characters are very human; interesting and quirky. Hope to see more in this series.

The storyline kept me turning the pages until the end!

Quick paced and a wonderful read.. Hurricane Idalia couldn’t make me put it down. Zee,a reporter gets involved in a murder,as a witness? Every corner she turns, much to the police officers chagrin, she gets pulled in deeper and deeper. I finished it as Idalia rattled the shutters.

I loved this book. The characters are well developed and the relationships between them are realistic. The story is great and the suspense is wonderful. I’m anxious to spend more time with these people.

This is so well-written. The plots and subplots intertwine seamlessly. I can feel the weather. I won’t spoil the end, but it had me on the edge of my seat.
